This is what happens when you go all in. Since the inception of his fourth solo album, Yes Man, Ian Janes is reaping the rewards from fully committing to music. Now he’s welcoming an abundance of opportunity and critical acclaim by allowing his creativity to take control.
On May 12th Ian will hit the road to share his new songs with fans across the Maritimes. The four-week tour kicks off in New Brunswick before winding back through Nova Scotia- culminating in a show at Wolfville’s Al Whittle theatre; just down the road from Janes’ hometown of Hantsport. Prior to setting out, Ian will be showcasing at East Coast Music Week including a feature performance for the ECMA Big Ticket Concert supporting Matt Andersen.
Since being released in February, Yes Man has been garnering attention across North America keeping Janes’ busy with interviews and in-studio performances. His single, “Broken Record”, has been seeing regular airplay (CBC, Clic Franco, Sirius XM, Stingray Radio) and his song “Can’t Remember Never Loving You”, co-written with Byron Hill (Ray Charles, George Strait, George Jones), was recently featured in the hit TV drama, Nashville. Ian is also scheduled to return to Music City in late April for a full slate of co-writes, plus a day of writing in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
A passionate and inspired album, Yes Man is a testament to Ian’s East Coast entrepreneurial spirit. Through dedication, hard work and saying ‘Yes’, Janes has opened up a world of opportunity.
