COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Covid-19 masking

What to Expect at Chester Playhouse Events

We would like to thank you for your patience during the last 2 years of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In response to the Province of Nova Scotia lifting public health protections, and what we are hearing from our patrons, we would like to advise our patrons of our policies and procedures for upcoming indoor events.

August 19th, 7:30pm – Masks are strongly encouraged, but not required.

SALT WATER IN YOUR SOCKS

August 26, 7:30pm – Masks are strongly encouraged, but not required.

August 27, 7:30pm – Masks are strongly encouraged, but not required.

August 28, 2pm – Masks are required for all patrons

All patrons who have purchased tickets for these performances have been contacted, and are encouraged to call the box office, should they wish to make any changes to their bookings.

For performances where masks are not explicitly required, we strongly encourage patrons to do so. Our staff will continue to wear masks, throughout. At all performances, we will continue to offer additional seating distance for any patrons who request it. We are eager to find a solution that suits your individual circumstances. Please call the box office at 902 275 3933 ext. 1, to discuss.

Many feel strongly about these policies, and we are working hard to provide an experience that is comfortable for our patrons, with the protections that they require. Our hope in offering varied protections within a run of a show is that it allows all to attend, with the atmosphere and protections they need to feel safe, and comfortable. We know that despite our efforts, not every patron can be accommodated, and we apologize for any inconvenience due to these changes. We will continue to do our best to offer an experience in which you can feel confident and comfortable.

We will continue to assess the landscape, monitor public health recommendations and listen to our patrons, as we continue to navigate this challenging time.

Thank you for continuing to support your Chester Playhouse

HOW TO GET YOUR TICKETS

ticket

Space in each of our venues will be limited so we encourage you to book your tickets in advance, rather than at showtime. As always, you can book your tickets online or over the phone. Even when an event is Pay What You Can, or Free, you must reserve a seat in advance.

All indoor performances will have assigned seats..

When you arrive

When you arrive, you must check in at the box office. Paper tickets will not be required for any event.

When you check in at the box office, an usher will direct you to your assigned seats.  Once you have found them, you may wish to use the washroom and get a drink from the bar, if one is operating.  The bar will close 15 minutes after the show begins.

During the show

If you need to use the washroom during the performance you are of course welcome to do so.

After the show

After the show, please exit the space in an orderly fashion, with consideration of other patrons in mind.

It’s easy to book online!
