June 8

The incredible Doris Mason, the incomparable Kim Dunn, and the multifaceted Owen “O’Sound” Lee come together on stage with 3 pianos, 6 hands, and No Plans!

These three critically acclaimed musicians have teamed up to bring you an intimate & interactive evening of original music and classic hits in a round-robin style performance! This show is filled with exceptional singing, virtuoso piano playing, awesome chemistry, humour, musical insight, good ‘feels’, and most of all, great music!

Pictou County’s Doris Mason is a beloved performer on the East Coast music scene, as a solo performer, musical director, and producer, whose music embraces celtic, folk, blues and jazz.

North Sydney’s Kim Dunn is one of Atlantic Canada’s top sidemen (most recently appearing alongside Matt Andersen’s recent holiday tour here in Chester!), and well-recognized (if undercelebrated) as a multi-award-winning musician, musical director, arranger and producer.

Owen O’Sound Lee has appeared at the Chester Playhouse twice in the past several years, and been a crowd favourite each time. An artist, musician, songwriter, vocal arranger and producer, originally from Toronto ON, he now calls Nova Scotia home. Owen has shared the stage and collaborated with numerous critically-acclaimed artists such as Drake, Mariah Carey, Kim Burrell, Jordin Sparks, and Jennifer Hudson. Nominated for numerous awards, he won 2023’s Album of the Year from the African Nova Scotian Music Association.

This is one night full of outstanding musical talent that you will not want to miss!
