The whole family will enjoy the spirited humour, riveting drama, and glorious music of the Chester Drama Society’s production of A Merry Medieval Christmas.
It’s a contemporary version of Medieval Miracle Plays that were performed in England during Christmas – biblical stories told with wit and irreverence. A Merry Medieval Christmas has been updated to have a unique Chester flavour, as well as some surprises, by Chester Drama Society writers Lorie Jenner-MacNutt, Malcolm Callaway and Kelvin Browne. It’s directed by Wanda Graham, an award-winning Nova Scotia writer, director and actor.
All ages will want to boo the villains, cheer on the angels, laugh at the comic antics, and sing along to familiar tunes.
