Join us In Conversation with a rising star in the Nova Scotia literary world, Charlene Carr.  After she dazzled the literary world with Hold My Girl in 2023, we are thrilled to celebrate the release of her latest novel, We Rip The World Apart!

Charlene Carr lives in Nova Scotia with her husband and two daughters. She has published nine novels, and a novella. Her first traditionally published novel, Hold My Girl, has also been optioned for television adaptation by Blink49 Studios in partnership with Groundswell Productions. Her latest book, We Rip The World Apart (released January 2024) highlights the complex experience of being an interracial family in rural Nova Scotia.

Host Liz Crocker will explore Charlene’s work and passion in this wide-ranging interview, with an opportunity for questions following.

Copies of We Rip The World Apart will be available at the event.
