Join host Liz Crocker for a wide-ranging conversation with singer, songwriter, painter, and activist, Jenn Grant!
Jenn Grant is an international recording and touring artist, having produced 8 albums of original music that’s been described as “deeply empathetic and generous of heart”. Her latest album, Champagne Problems, gathered 13 musicians from coast to territory to coast in a series of collaborative Canadian magic tricks spun into classic country, lost disco hits, and ruminative folk fables. The Album was nominated for six East Coast Music Awards in 2024, and Jenn was named Songwriter of the Year. She has previously received 3 Juno nominations, and was long-listed for the Polaris Prize.
Not content to rest on her laurels, Jenn is also a skilled painter and an outspoken activist for peace in Gaza. She supports The English Learning Tent, now named Al Salam (which means ‘school for peace’), and has organized several fundraisers to directly assist families impacted by the war.
In this intimate interview, we’ll discuss Jenn’s many passions, how she balances a creative life with family, and where the winds will blow her next.
