In Guillemo Del Toro’s 2025 production of the classic horror film, Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist brings a monstrous creature to life in a daring experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation. The film was nominated for 9 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Production Design for Tamara Deverall and Shane Vieau.
Shane Vieau has been in the film and television industry for over 25 years, taking him to New Zealand, UK, Hungary, Latin America and the Middle East. He has participated in multiple Oscar best picture nominations, and has had the privilege of working with Guillermo del Toro, Denis Villeneuve, Tim Burton. His achievements include the Oscar for Production Design for The Shape of Water, 4 Oscar nominations, 5 BAFTA nominations, 2 Critics Choice, and 1 Emmy, with credits including Dune: Part Two, It: Chapter Two, Spotlight, and Big Eyes. He currently resides in Chester on the main drag and loves the community dearly.
