“Shakespeare Without Tears 2010”
with John Cowans
The Chester Playhouse is again offering this non-threatening, fun, weekly series which will take you through three plays and a look at the times in which Shakespeare wrote. This is the third time that this series has been offered, and this year we will open with the film, Shakespeare in Love, with Gweneth Paltrow and Joseph Fiennes. This event will be free and open to all. Make sure to come along and bring your friends. For those who want to follow the full series, here is this year’s line-up:
January 10: Shakespeare in Love (Film)
January 17: Into. to Elizabethan England
January 24: The Tempest (Intro.)
January 31: The Tempest (on tape)
February 7: Richard III (Intro)
February 14: Richard III/ Hamlet (Intro)
February 21: Hamlet (The Kenneth Branagh Film)
