We’re upgrading our ticketing experience! Beginning April 20th at 8pm AST, we’ll be transitioning to Spektrix, a leading box office and theatre ticketing software used worldwide. This new system will replace our current Theatre Manager platform, bringing you a smoother, more user-friendly experience when booking tickets with us.

As part of this process, all ticket sales will be stopped from April 21st through April 23rd so we can move everything over to Spektrix. Our staff will be busy behind the scenes during this time to make the transition as seamless as possible for you, our valued patrons. Ticket sales will resume on Thursday, April 24th. 

Those looking to book tickets for Forest Heights Community School’s production of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes can make their ticket requests using the button below.

Account & Passwords: Your existing account info, with your ticket purchase and donation history will be transferred automatically! Just log in with your current email and set a new password or use Spektrix’s password-free login options.

Security: Your personal information remains safe and secure with Spektrix, which adheres to the latest information security standards.

Ease of Use: Enjoy a more intuitive and streamlined ticket-purchasing process, with new features like downloading tickets at home and communicating accessibility needs directly.

E-Newsletter: As part of this transition, our weekly e-newsletter will also change platforms, so you may see it arriving in a slightly different format come the end of this month. Stay tuned for an email coming soon from this new platform.  

We know that our box office has changed several times over the last few years, and that for some, it’s been a challenge to learn multiple new systems to buy tickets for the great shows at your Chester Playhouse.  We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this necessary transition of our box office platform, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience. FAQ

What Is Spektrix?

Spektrix is a top-notch box office and theatre ticketing software utilized globally.  It replaces our current Theatre Manager system and enhances our patrons’ overall user experience.

Spektrix’s system is more user-friendly and reliable than what patrons are used to with Theatre Manager (our former software). With your Spektrix account, you can enjoy features like downloading and printing tickets at home, specifying your contact preferences, and much more.

All Theatre Manager accounts are being migrated into Spektrix.  Upon initial login, you will be prompted to create a new password or take advantage of Spektrix’s password-free login choices.  Your Spektrix account username will match your account’s primary email address used in Theatre Manager.

Spektrix acts as a data processor, where the clients are the data controllers, meaning Spektrix will never alter, manipulate, or otherwise interact with your data.   Spektrix is certified, using the most recent standards for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system.

Spektrix’s software is notably more straightforward than our current software.  We believe that our patrons will appreciate the streamlined purchasing experience with us.

All Gift Certificates will still be valid!   They will move to our new software.  If you have any trouble using them, please contact our Box Office.  We are always here to help!
