Join us for Fiction Fête! as we celebrate Atlantic fiction authors with a showcase of readings from the Atlantic Book Awards nominees!
Five Atlantic Canadian authors are nominated for the highly coveted Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award, a book prize valued at $30,000.
Joining us this afternoon to read from their nominated works are:
- Renée Belliveau, A Sense of Things Beyond (Vagrant Press)
- Jaime Burnet, milktooth (Vagrant Press)
- Robert de la Chevotière, We Were Not Kings (Little A)
- Danny Jacobs, The Ignis Psalter (Porcupine’s Quill)
- Danica Roache, Five Seasons of Charlie Francis (Vagrant Press)
Hosted by Stephanie Domet (co-executive and co-artistic director of AfterWords Literary Festival). Stephanie Domet is the author of two novels, and is at work on a third. She lives in Halifax where she is a freelance writer and editor who teaches creative writing in her dining room to little kids, sews her own clothes, and absolutely wants to make you supper when you’re in town.
