The Chester Playhouse Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday, March 23rd, 7-8:30pm.
Location: Chester Playhouse (22 Pleasant Street, Chester, NS) or via Zoom (link provided upon registration).
The Annual General Meeting is held yearly to update all members of the society (donors of $10 or more in 2025) on our past year of operations. Only members may vote, but all are welcome to attend.
Agenda items will include:
1) Minutes of preceding annual meeting;
2) Review of the acts and duties of the Board as presented in the President’s annual report;
3) Review of the Managing Director’s annual report;
4) Review of the financial statements, including balance sheet and operating statement and the report of the auditors;
5) Review of annual reports from standing committees;
6) Election of Directors for the ensuing year;
7) Appointment of auditors; and
8) Special Resolution of the Members to adopt amendments to the By-Laws, as originally proposed in 2017.
