If you are unable to use your tickets you have a few options. You may:

  • Pass your tickets on to someone else. If possible, please contact us with the name of the person attending.
  • Call the Box Office to have your ticket value credited to your account as a Gift Card. This gift card can be used for any Playhouse presentation.
  • Turn the value of your ticket into a donation to the Playhouse.  You will receive a charitable tax receipt for this donation.

For information or changes to your reserved ticket, please call the Box Office at (902) 275-3933.

If a show is canceled or postponed, ticket holders will receive an email and/or phone call. Notifications will also be shared via our social media pages including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. If in doubt, check these.

If The Chester Playhouse cancels a performance, a credit will be given for the value of your ticket(s). This credit will never expire and can be used for any future event presented by the Chester Playhouse.

If an event is postponed, your tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date, when scheduled. If you are unable to attend on this new date, you can receive a refund or a Gift Card for that value.

In both cases, your ticket can also be donated to the Chester Playhouse for a charitable tax receipt.

Youth tickets are available for all events for patrons 20 and under.

Babes in Arms and children under FOUR (4) years of age are not permitted in the theatre. The theatre reserves the right to ask for proof of age if a child appears to be under four years old and may refuse entry (even for family shows.) Please consider this rule when purchasing.

youth programs

Summer youth performance camps are announced in March, before Spring Break.

The majority of our summer youth performance camps are available to youth ranging from the ages of 6-13.

Registration is required for each individual participant.

A non-refundable $50 deposit is required upon registration.

The balance of the fee is required three weeks prior to the start date of the camp.

The Chester Playhouse believes strongly in creating the opportunity for youth to participate in the creative arts, therefore, no child gets turned away because of financial barriers.

Should you require financial assistance please contact the Chester Playhouse at (902) 275-3933 or via email at info@chesterplayhouse.ca.
