Chester’s beloved community talent show, the By-FOLK-le is BACK!
Join your friends and neighbours, as they take the stage in a celebration of community talent! Songs, monologues, jokes, and surprises abound in this sometimes silly, sometimes stunning, always delightful evening of pre-holiday fun.
Featuring performances by Dark & Stormy, and a bill of all-local talent including:
Kyle O’Brien – Singer/Songwriter
Zachary Miller – Oldtimey Canadiana Swing with added Kazoo!
Sage – Harmonious Singers
Erin Gore & Andrew Hamson – Poetry with a twist
Katie Feltmate – Singer/Songwriter
…. just to name a few, you won’t want to miss this chance to sing, dance, and celebrate the talent that lives in this wonderful community.
Hosting the show is improv comedy duo Colin and Joe! Colin Dunphy and Joe Harfhouche are regulars around the Halifax comedy scene, and had a stellar show at the 2025 Halifax Fringe Festival. We’re so excited to have them bringing the laughs (and even some games) to By-FOLK-le!
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of wonderful surprises, as Chester takes the stage of its Playhouse!
