Welcome to our Playhouse Without Walls
Since 1938 friends, families, and visitors to our community have been gathering at the Chester Playhouse to experience movies, music, theatre, and community events.
After a fire damaged the Playhouse in June 2021, we quickly reimagined our model and the “Playhouse Without Walls”. Moving events outdoors, and partnering with local venues, the Chester Playhouse continues to bring live music, theatre, movies, and more to our community.
While we work to rebuild our beloved home at 22 Pleasant St, our Playhouse Without Walls continues through 2022, with incredible live performances taking place throughout the year, in venues throughout the Chester area.
